Responsible for:
To lead and manage the change initiatives associated with business transformation projects. The Change Manager ensures that changes are effectively embedded into the organisation with minimal disruption, maximum benefit realisation, and alignment with strategic objectives.
Based at:
Remote with travel to Portsmouth and London as required
Scope:
Focused across Bell for all internal business and IT change.
Purpose
A Business Change Manager (BCM) ensures that business change initiatives deliver lasting value by embedding new ways of working across the organization. Unlike a traditional Change Manager who may focus on process or technical change, the BCM has a broader, strategic role that links projects and programmes with business readiness and benefits realization.
Role

Develop and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.

Lead stakeholder analysis, engagement, and communications planning across business units.

Coordinate with project managers to integrate change management activities into the overall project plan.

Conduct readiness assessments, evaluate results, and present findings to support decision-making.

Identify and manage anticipated resistance to change, and develop mitigation strategies.

Coordination of all UAT activities, ensuring test scenarios and scripts have been completed and all stakeholder are lined up to complete them

Oversee training needs analysis and coordinate delivery of training programs.

Support development of benefits realization plans and track achievement of business outcomes.

Act as a bridge between project teams and business units to ensure successful delivery.
COMPETENCIES

Deep understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).

Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Project management knowledge or certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is advantageous.

Ability to influence and build relationships at all organisational levels.

Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.

Proven experience of testing and training approaches and delivery
- Familiarity with agile and digital transformation environments is a plus
Person
Essential:

5+ years of experience in managing organizational change, preferably in large or complex environments.

Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and delivering sustainable change
Desirable

Formal certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci Certified Change Practitioner)

Bachelor's degree in Business, Organisational Development, or related field
