Tyrone Diesel Systems are seeking a Customer Service & Store Manager to be the first point of contact for our customers and to support our diesel fuel injection workshop.
This is a varied role combining customer service, sales and hands-on diesel component work, ideal for someone who's comfortable talking to customers as much as working on parts.
Role
- Dealing with customers on the phone, online and in person
- Advising customers on parts and services for their vehicle or engine
- Taking orders and providing updates on ongoing jobs
- Checking availability of parts and stock records
- Ordering parts and supplies, and maintaining stock levels
- Dealing with payments, invoices and receipts
- Performing checks and basic diagnostic work on diesel fuel injection components
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the store
Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Good computer skills
- Previous experience in a similar role, motor factors, or automotive parts environment preferred, but full training will be provided
- Ability to plan workload and use own initiative
- Interest in engineering or the automotive industry an advantage
- Experience with MAM software and Microsoft Office desirable, but not essential
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Salary
Negotiable depending on experience
