Supreme Recruitment are recruiting for a Fabricator in Smethwick on a permanent basis.
Our client is a leading manufacturer of metalwork to the architectural industry.
Hours of work
7:00am - 4pm with earlier finish on a Friday with overtime regularly available.
Pay
£17-£18 per hour dependent on skill set rising after 3 months
What we are looking for?
- Be able to fabricate staircases and handrails from engineering drawings using grinders, brake presses and other metal cutting/ shaping machinery
- Be able to commute to Smethwick on a daily basis for 0700
- Preferable if you have experience working in Architectural Metalwork (preferred, not essential)
- Looking for long term, permanent work
- Able to MIG & TIG weld (preferred)
Your duties may include:
- Using your skill set to fabricate feature staircases
- MIG/ TIG Welding (when required)
- Fabricating using various cutting/ shaping machinery including brake presses and grinders
- Reading engineering drawings
Overtime is readily available
- Time third after 40/ Saturday morning
- Time half Saturday afternoon
- Double time sundays/ bank holidays
Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
