The Role
As a Senior Lettings Negotiator, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of our lettings portfolio, ensuring a high level of service for landlords and tenants while maintaining full compliance with current legislation.
This is primarily an office-based role, although you'll also attend property viewings, inspections, landlord appointments and property visits when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing property compliance and ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
- Overseeing maintenance issues through to completion.
- Completing tenant referencing and preparing tenancy agreements.
- Arranging inventories and tenancy documentation.
- Responding promptly and professionally to landlord and tenant enquiries.
- Building and maintaining excellent relationships with landlords, tenants and contractors.
- Providing regular updates throughout the tenancy to ensure clear communication.
- Supporting the continued growth and success of the lettings department.
- Working collaboratively within a close-knit and supportive team.
About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience within residential lettings.
- A strong understanding of current lettings legislation and compliance.
- Able to take ownership, delegate tasks where appropriate, support and mentor colleagues, and lead by example within the team.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise a varied workload and manage time effectively.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Strong systems and software skills.
- A proactive, positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A desire to develop their career within a growing independent estate agency.
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle.
