We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and professional Driver & Removalist to join our growing house clearance business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working as part of a team, meeting customers, and being involved in a varied role where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities
● Safely and responsibly drive company vans and vehicles throughout the UK.
● Carry out house clearance work alongside the team.
● Attend customer appointments nationwide to provide quotations for house clearance services.
● Meet customers face-to-face, discuss their requirements, and represent the company professionally.
● Load and unload furniture and household items safely.
● Perform heavy manual lifting as part of daily duties.
● Respect, maintain, and take pride in company vehicles, ensuring they are kept clean, roadworthy, and in excellent condition.
● Carry out routine vehicle checks and have a good understanding of basic vehicle maintenance to ensure vehicles remain safe and compliant.
Essential Requirements
● Full, clean UK driving licence.
● Confident and sensible driver with an excellent attitude towards road safety.
● Strong awareness of vehicle care and basic maintenance.
● Willingness to travel nationwide when required.
● Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting.
● Friendly, articulate, and confident communicating with customers in person.
● Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
● Positive work ethic with a willingness to get involved in all aspects of the business.
Working Hours
● Typically 3–4 days per week.
● Some early starts and occasional late finishes.
● Working hours vary depending on the size of each job and how efficiently work is completed.
