Job Overview:
Join our team at Chrisalis WorldWide Limited, a reputable freight forwarders and haulage company based in St Helens, as a Truck Driver. We are seeking a dedicated individual to transport goods safely and efficiently to various destinations.
Working on a 4 on 4 off Rota on based out of Aldi NESTON
Duties:
- You will be required to open and close stores and set alarms, Training will be given
- Operate trucks to transport goods and materials while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations to our customers store
- Unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate driving logs.
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers using communication devices.
- Ensure the security of the cargo during transit.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Truck Driver or relevant position.
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Strong understanding of commercial driving regulations and safety protocols.
