Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and label medications following established protocols and safety standards
- Verify prescription details against medical records and ensure proper documentation
- Provide excellent patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under supervision
- Manage inventory levels, restock shelves, and monitor medication expiry dates to maintain stock integrity
- Support medication administration processes in clinical settings when required
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and inventory transactions
Skills
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in dispensing and documentation
- Compassionate approach to patient care with effective communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus
