Sales Assistant
Ascona Group is one of Wales fastest growing companies with its UK Head Office located in Pembrokeshire. A leading independent petrol forecourt operator ranked 7th in the UK Top Indies. We own, operate and directly manage service stations across England and Wales. A retail network that has grown from 2 to 61 sites in 4 years, with annual sales revenues in excess of £220m per year. We currently employ 784 staff across the UK with over 250 located in Wales. We have exciting plans for the future with the development of our existing network as well as new sites joining our estate. We plan to own and operate 300 sites in the next 5 years and therefore as our estate grows we need more team members.
What would my main responsibilities be as a sales assistant at Ascona?
- Provide a fantastic customer service experience
- Be helpful and polite to all customers and colleagues.
- Be an all rounder - Cash handling, use of the till, stock replenishment, cleaning duties, ordering stock.
- Sell products according to policies and procedures E.g. Challenge 25.
- Be flexible to cover shifts
- Occasional kitchen work.
Lone working - Must be over 18
Needs to be flexible to cover sickness
Previous retail experience would be an advantage, however, full training will be provided.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
