Duties
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out masonry, bricklaying and fencing tasks.
- Assist in constructing, repairing, and maintaining structures such as walls, fences, and foundations.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any faults or damages promptly.
- Assist with site clean-up and organisation to ensure a tidy and safe workspace.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in the above.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialised construction equipment.
- Knowledge of safety regulations relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to read technical drawings and interpret project specifications.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Relevant certifications or licences in construction trades are advantageous but not essential. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to expand their expertise within the sector while contributing to diverse projects that demand precision and professionalism.
