Do you love dogs, enjoy being outdoors, and want a rewarding part-time role? We're looking for two reliable and experienced Dog Walkers to join the Helping Hounds team. With pet sitting opportunities regularly.
About the Role
As a Helping Hounds Dog Walker, you'll provide safe, fun, and enriching walks for our clients' dogs while delivering exceptional care and customer service. You'll also be responsible for safely transporting dogs to and from walks using your own vehicle.
Hours:
- Part-time
- Flexible weekday hours (with potential for additional hours)
- Immediate start available
Essential Requirements
- Experience working with dogs (such as dog walking, doggy daycare, dog sitting, veterinary practice, kennel work, grooming, rescue centres, or similar hands-on roles)
- A full UK driving licence
- A reliable, dog-friendly vehicle suitable for safely transporting dogs
- Live within approximately 15 minutes of SG16 6GS
- Reliable, trustworthy, and punctual
- Confident handling dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments
- Good level of fitness and happy to work outdoors in all weather
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
