The Davenport Arms is a cosy and traditional English country pub located in Woodford! We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team, whether you have AGM experience or are a supervisor looking to take the next step in your career we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities include:
- Opening and closing of the pub
- Ensuring the shift runs smoothly by encouraging team work and excellent communication from Front of House to the kitchen
- Creating a welcoming environment for the customers, offering them knowledge of the food and drinks we have on offer
- Ensuring a high-quality service and customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar supervisory or managerial position within hospitality is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, keeping composure and attention to detail under pressure
- Experience with handling group bookings / event experience is ideal but definitely not necessary!
