Class 2 HGV Driver required to cover all rounds . Permanent full time role Monday - Friday **You will be put on the Saturday rota shift**
This role will be predominantly based from our Chorley Depot but you will be required to work from our Bolton Depot also to cover holidays/absence etc.

The Role, General Responsibilities and Activities
- The primary role is that of a Class 2 HGV Driver operating Trade Waste vehicles collecting waste & recycling materials from our customers across the region in a timely and professional manor.
- Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
- We operate a paperless in cab system with a touchscreen tablet which organises jobs for the day and records work carried out.
- Responsibilities also include keeping vehicles clean and presentable alongside ensuring the vehicle is safe to operate. This is determined by daily checks.
- Ensuring areas are kept clean and tidy after every service.
- Maintain a log of work carried out via a tablet provided to track work.
- Operate safely at all times.
- You must hold a current valid Drivers CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
- It is also a requirement that you are competent in using and have a full understanding of a Tachograph and the current Tachograph Regulations..
- You must be conversant with operating within the requirements EU Drivers Hours Rules.

Skills and Experience
- HGV Class 2 Licence minimum
- Tachograph experience and working time directive.
- Experience in Waste Collections preferred but not essential.
- Customer Service.
- Knowledge of the Waste Industry desirable.
- Willingness to learn new skills

Monday to Friday including a Saturday Shift on a rota basis.
