Bridgend County Borough’s ICT Service Area is committed to providing a customer led information technology service. Our aim is to exhibit continuing improvement in all its activities by concentrating on meeting the business needs of its customers by means of appropriate investment in technology and staff.
Working under the guidance of the IT Support Team Leader you will provide technical hardware and software support on network and PC operating system products together with the installation and support of ICT hardware. As you will be working at times without supervision you will need to be able to use your initiative and judgement to provide effective solutions to problems.
You will possess a HNC or relevant ICT qualification, or the ability to demonstrate competence through experience. You will need a full driving license and the ability to attend various sites across the county borough with your own vehicle.
Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
An Enhanced with Childrens Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
A valid driving licence is requirement for this post.
