The Angel Inn is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Chef to join our friendly kitchen team now we have extended our kitchen opening hours.
We are a traditional country pub serving high-quality, homemade meals prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients and are looking for someone experienced in working in a fast paced kitchen.
About the Role
As part of our kitchen team, you will:
- Prepare and cook fresh homemade dishes to a high standard (full training on preparing our menu dishes will be given)
- Assist with daily kitchen operations.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Manage stock rotation and minimise waste.
- Ensure all allergen procedures are followed.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Help keep the kitchen clean, organised and well-presented.
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience working in a busy kitchen is essential.
- Passion for producing quality food.
- Good understanding of food hygiene, allergens and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Reliable, hardworking and a positive team player.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
