Position Overview:
Bryant Precision Ltd is seeking an experienced, customer-focused Sales Estimator to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded professional with experience in the aluminium fenestration industry, including windows, doors, curtain walling, and cladding systems. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing customer relationships, preparing competitive quotations, and supporting projects from enquiry through to order.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations for aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and cladding projects.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Liaise directly with customers, contractors, architects, and developers to understand project requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing a high level of service throughout the sales process.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure quotations are technically and commercially viable.
- Follow up quotations and identify opportunities to secure new business.
- Assist with value engineering and alternative solutions where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations, and customer communications.
Skills and Experience:
Essential
- Previous estimating experience within the aluminium glazing, façade, or construction industry.
- Knowledge of aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling, and cladding systems.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable
- Experience using estimating software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of current building regulations and façade performance requirements.
- Experience working with main contractors, architects, and developers.
