Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Handyman/Fitter to join our dynamic team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing a wide range of equipment, fixtures, and structures across our facilities. Your expertise will ensure that our environment remains safe, functional, and efficient. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your mechanical, electrical, and technical skills while contributing to the smooth operation of our organization. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses strong leadership qualities to supervise maintenance activities effectively. When not on maintenance tasks the candidate will be taught mould setting and other routine precast concrete skills.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, fixtures, and building infrastructure to ensure optimal operations.
- Weld components as needed to repair or fabricate parts, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Manage basic electrical, joinery, plumbing tasks.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- When not on maintenance tasks the candidate will be taught mould setting and other routine precast concrete skills.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with practical experience in maintenance and repair work.
- Hands-on welding skills for fabricating or repairing metal components safely.
- Electrical experience.
- Joinery/plumbing knowledge

Pay: £13.00-£15.25 per hour
