DegreeSix are working a small primary school in Northampton. We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant qualified in BSL to work 1:1 alongside a student with hearing impairments. The students will require additional and adaptable levels of support throughout the school day. This is a 2 day a week role where you will experience a variety of different conditions.
To be successful:
- Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this)
- Qualified in BSL
- Confident and proactive in supporting young children with their SLD.
- Ability to work well in small groups and 1:1, as well as assisting the teacher with the day-to-day curriculum.
