Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Domestic Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming environment within our premises. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met.
- Organise and maintain storage areas, ensuring supplies are well-stocked and accessible.
- Assist with laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and organising clothing and linens.
- Support with light maintenance tasks as required to uphold the cleanliness and safety of the environment.
- Manage scheduling of cleaning routines and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding politely and efficiently to requests from staff or visitors.
- Use Microsoft Word and Outlook to document activities, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Demonstrate leadership qualities when supervising junior staff or coordinating cleaning schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven organisational skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general IT skills.
- Experience in hospitality or management roles is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
- Previous experience in domestic cleaning or related roles is desirable but training will be provided for the right candidate.
