The role
You'll become the technical point of reference for the Residential Development team, advising on complex legal issues and supporting colleagues across a varied portfolio of development work.
Your work will include:
- Advising on complex residential development and plot sale transactions.
- Supporting matters involving shared ownership, staircasing, lease extensions, Right to Buy and affordable housing.
- Reviewing development documentation and ensuring sites are efficiently prepared for plot sales.
- Developing precedents and improving technical consistency across the team.
- Providing guidance on complex title, lease and transactional issues.
- Mentoring junior lawyers and acting as a trusted technical sounding board.
- Working closely with colleagues across Real Estate, Construction, Planning and Litigation on multi-disciplinary development projects.
You'll probably be a good fit if...
- You're a qualified Solicitor with around 3+ years' PQE (although equivalent experience will also be considered).
- You have strong Residential Development, Plot Sales or Affordable Housing experience.
