About the role:
Justteachers are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive Primary school in Boston who are looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teaching Assistant for a full time role starting in September.
This school provides a welcoming environment where pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards learning. Staff work closely together to ensure every child feels supported and has the opportunity to succeed both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children during lessons and classroom activities
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to reinforce learning
- Assist teachers with preparing resources and organising learning spaces
- Encourage pupils to participate fully in lessons and school activities
- Support pupils with their social and emotional development
- Help maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines
- Work closely with teaching staff to support pupil progress and wellbeing
Pre-requisites:
- Experience working with children in a Primary school or similar educational setting
- A caring and supportive approach to working with young learners
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Confidence supporting children with a range of abilities and needs
- A positive and proactive attitude towards learning support
- Two recent education based references
