We are looking for compassionate, reliable and dedicated Bank Support Workers to join our team in Luton.
We support young people aged 16 and above in a semi-independent setting, helping them develop confidence, independence and the practical skills they need for their future.

Shift and Schedule: Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
Your Role
As a Support Worker, you will provide practical and emotional support while helping young people work towards their individual goals.
Responsibilities will include:
- Building positive, professional relationships with young people.
- Supporting independent living skills such as cooking, budgeting, shopping and maintaining a home.
- Supporting young people with appointments, education and community activities.
- Delivering meaningful key work sessions.
- Promoting positive behaviour and using appropriate prevention and de-escalation strategies.
- Monitoring wellbeing and reporting safeguarding concerns appropriately.
- Completing accurate daily records, weekly reports and other required documentation.
- Working alongside colleagues, social workers, local authorities and other professionals.
- Supporting medication administration where appropriately trained and authorised.
- Maintaining a safe, respectful and supportive environment.
Requirements
We are looking for people who are:
- Caring, patient, positive and resilient.
- Confident communicating with young people and professionals.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and flexible.
- Comfortable working days, nights, weekends and 24-hour shifts.
- Experienced in residential childcare, supported accommodation, supported living, social care or a similar setting. Experience with young people is desirable.
A full UK driving licence is desirable and applicants based in Luton or the surrounding areas are preferred due to the nature of the bank role and shift requirements.
A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care, Residential Childcare or another relevant subject is desirable. Relevant experience will also be considered.
