We are recruiting a substantive Consultant Cellular Pathologist at the Royal Sussex County Hospital .
You will work within supportive and experienced sub specialty teams in Gynecological and Gastrointestinal Pathology to help deliver high quality, timely diagnostics .
You will also contribute to leadership, training, research, and our regional Sussex network collaboration.
The clinical duties of the post include the following:
Independent reporting of diagnostic cellular pathology case with a focus on Gynaecological and Gastrointestinal Pathology.
Participation in relevant Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings and provision of timely clinicopathological advice.
Clinical supervision of trainees and contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate education (including BSMS).
Participation in clinical governance, audit, EQA, quality improvement, service development and leadership.
Adherence to Trust policies including information governance, health and safety, safeguarding and equality, diversity and inclusion.
