Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Wood Green Care Home. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being while fostering a supportive atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
- Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or well-being to senior staff.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff alike.
- Participate in training sessions and continuous professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a healthcare or care home setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to empathize with residents.
- Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
- A commitment to providing high-quality person-centred care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
