Barnardo’s is committed to providing ‘Better Outcomes for More Children’. Our children’s services volunteers help the charity to deliver essential services in local communities, providing support to over 300,000 children, young people and their families. This role provides a great opportunity to join our fantastic children’s services and help make a real difference. We are looking for friendly and sociable volunteers to represent Barnardo's children's services at one-off events, such as festivals, fetes, and fun days. Our children's services often attend local events organised by other organisations, to raise the profile of Barnardo's and share information about our work. This one-off events ambassador role will help us to promote our service in The Anchor (Cashback) Service at Barnardo’s Highland as a Festival Youth Engagement Volunteer at this year’s Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival! No ongoing regular commitment is required to do this volunteer role. However, you do need to be available to support the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival, taking place on Thursday 31st July – Saturday 2nd August 2026. If you decide to stay with us longer, we can tell you about other regular volunteer opportunities and support you to apply, as other checks maybe required. Become a one-off events ambassador and lend a hand at one-off events near you.
