About Veritas Housekeepers
Veritas Housekeepers is a growing professional cleaning company based in Leicester, providing high-quality domestic and commercial cleaning services to clients across Leicester and Leicestershire.
We are looking for a confident, motivated and professional Part-Time Sales Assistant to join us one day per week and help grow our commercial client base.
The Role
This is a sales-focused role where your main responsibility will be contacting local businesses and organisations to identify potential cleaning opportunities and secure new commercial contracts for Veritas Housekeepers.
You will be responsible for:
- Calling businesses across Leicester and Leicestershire
- Introducing Veritas Housekeepers and our commercial cleaning services
- Speaking with business owners, managers and decision-makers
- Identifying businesses that require cleaning services
- Following up with potential clients and previous enquiries
- Building and maintaining a database of prospective clients
- Arranging site visits and appointments where appropriate
- Sending follow-up emails and information to prospective clients
- Keeping accurate records of calls, leads and outcomes
- Helping develop long-term commercial relationships
- Working towards securing new cleaning contracts
What We're Looking For

- Confident and professional on the telephone
- Comfortable speaking to business owners and decision-makers
- Friendly, persuasive and able to build rapport quickly
- Motivated by achieving results
- Organised and able to manage follow-ups
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Computer literate and confident using email and basic office software
- Able to represent a professional cleaning company positively
Previous sales, telesales, business development or customer service experience is desirable but not essential. What matters most is confidence, communication skills and the ability to pick up the phone and have conversations with potential clients.
