HGV Class 2 Driver – Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, professional and motivated HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.
You will be responsible for delivering goods safely and efficiently to our customers, primarily restaurants and takeaways. You will work as part of a supportive and professional delivery team, with drivers' mates available when required to assist with deliveries and physically demanding tasks.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for stable, Monday-to-Friday work with a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
- Deliver goods to customers' premises safely, accurately and on time.
- Load, unload and handle goods as required.
- Collect customer payments.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional attitude at all times.
- Follow all road safety regulations, company procedures and legal requirements.
- Carry out appropriate vehicle checks and report any defects or issues.
- Keep the vehicle clean, tidy and in good working condition.
- Communicate effectively with the Operations Team regarding deliveries and any issues encountered.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 40 hours per week
- Start times vary between 6:00am and 9:00am, depending on your allocated delivery round.
- Drivers finish once the day's workload has been completed.

Bank Holiday Pay
If you are required to work on a bank holiday, you will receive 8 hours' bank holiday pay in addition to the hours worked on that day.
