The Role
We are seeking experienced Directors/Managing Directors to join the team, working either from our office in Grand Cayman or remotely (non-US locations only).
We'll trust you to:
Lead complex, multi-country carve-outs with enterprise values of $500M+ (typically $1-3B)
Understand the key dependencies and critical path for different transaction types, and understand the key risks, e.g. legal entity setup, contract disentanglement and IT separation
Build and direct cross-functional delivery teams, identify and solve problems, set the standard for quality, pace and ownership
Shape separation execution, not just monitor it. Challenge assumptions, redesign approaches, and accelerate timelines where others default to plan or formal reporting lines
Own the separation detail and client relationship. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders. Deal teams and portfolio company boards should look to you, not through you
You'll need to have:
8-15 years in M&A execution with a demonstrable track record of leading complex carve-outs and integrations
Experience operating as the senior delivery principal and/or major workstream leader (IT, Finance, HR, Supply Chain) on multiple deals
Background at a Big 4 firm, Alvarez & Marsal, Huron, FTI, or equivalent
At least 3 referenceable private equity clients
Preferred:

About Us
Larkhill & Company was founded to provide the highest level of operator-led execution to the world's leading private equity firms.
We specialise in carve-out delivery, from pre-close planning through to full operational independence. Our engagements typically span multiple jurisdictions and require the simultaneous separation of every major operational function from a corporate parent. The work is large, complex, and operationally demanding.
Our people work alongside portfolio company leadership with direct accountability to the sponsor for the outcome of the separation. They are in the boardroom and on the ground. They advise, challenge, and execute simultaneously.
This approach attracts people who value impact, autonomy and meaningful economics over institutional scale. Operators who have run complex separations before, communicate clearly, and take personal ownership of the results.
Representation Policy
Larkhill & Company is an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on race, colour, ethnic or national origin, sex, marital status, religion or disability.
