✨ Female Personal Care Assistant – Blyth ✨
£14.67 per hour | 4 hours per week (+ additional hours in school holidays)
A family in the Blyth area are seeking an experienced female Personal Care Assistant to support a 4½-year-old girl with complex health needs at home and in the local community.
The child has a brain injury following cardiac arrest and requires support with mobility and PEG feeding.
Role responsibilities include:

Personal care (bathing, nappy changing)

Administration of medication, including nebuliser

PEG feeding (training provided)
-
Supporting social and leisure activities, including sensory play and outings

Promoting a safe and engaging environment
✅ The successful applicant will:

Be caring, compassionate, and reliable
-
Have experience supporting children with complex health needs (preferred)
-
Be able to build a positive relationship with the child and family
-
Be flexible to meet the needs of the family
Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle
Hours:
-
4 hours per week (evenings or weekends)
-
Additional 4 hours per week during school holidays
-
Flexible working pattern required
An enhanced DBS for Children’s Workforce is required (cost covered by the employer). Full training will be provided, including medication, moving & handling, and safeguarding.
