We are looking to recruit an Housekeeper at our Care Home, Glenmuir House in St Leonards.
This position is for 28 hours per week with alternate weekend 8am to 4.30pm
Starting on £12.75 and rising to £12.85 after probationary period

Requirements of the Role:
-To ensure that all areas of the Care Home are cleaned to a high standard and in compliance with the specific cleaning schedules and guidelines.
-To understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, food hygiene, infection control, COSHH and all aspects of the Health and Social Care Act (or be willing to receive the relevant training)
-To complete all necessary paperwork as required including menu requests, temperature charts, return to kitchen diary and cleaning schedules.
-To assist with making and serving the resident’s meals and drinks.
-To check that all equipment used is in full, safe working order, promptly reporting any faults to the Home Manager and other Housekeepers.
-To ensure that all areas of the Home are supplied with adequate housekeeping items and inform the manager of any shortages.
-To respect and maintain confidentiality of resident’s personal information at all times, including their right to privacy, dignity and choice.
-Any other duties that may be required to assist in the smooth running of the Home.
Previous experience in a similar role would be preferred but training will also be provided.
