Titan Tail Lifts is one of the North West's fastest-growing tail lift specialists, providing repairs, servicing, LOLER inspections, installations and maintenance for commercial vehicle lifting equipment.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Entry-Level Tail Lift Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in engineering, working alongside experienced engineers and receiving ongoing training and support.
The role is predominantly based at our workshop and customer sites, assisting with repairs, servicing, installations and inspections. You will learn practical engineering skills in hydraulic, electrical and mechanical systems while building valuable industry experience.
No previous tail lift experience is required, although a mechanical or engineering background would be beneficial.
Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting experienced engineers with repairs, servicing and maintenance of tail lifts, shutter doors and associated equipment.
- Supporting installations of tail lifts, shutter doors and lifting equipment.
- Learning how to identify hydraulic, electrical and mechanical faults.
- Assisting with LOLER inspections and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Preparing vehicles, equipment and parts for repair and installation work.
- Maintaining workshop cleanliness, organisation and health & safety standards.
- Completing basic job sheets and service documentation.
- Collecting and delivering parts when required.
- Working safely and professionally on customer sites and within the workshop.
- Developing technical knowledge through hands-on training and manufacturer courses.
We're looking for someone who:

- Is willing to work both in the workshop and on customer sites as required.
- Is willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Holds a full UK Driving Licence (preferred but not essential).
The following would be advantageous but not essential:

Vehicle maintenance or mechanical experience.
- Engineering, motor vehicle or technical qualifications.
- Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic, electrical or mechanical systems.
- Previous workshop, manufacturing or engineering experience.
Full training will be provided.
