The Opportunity
Performance Resourcing are currently recruiting for experienced Automotive Service Advisors to join franchised dealerships across the West Berkshire area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor to represent a premium automotive brand, working within a professional and supportive dealership environment with excellent earning potential and genuine career development opportunities.
The Role
As a Service Advisor, you will be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a professional, efficient, and first-class experience from vehicle booking through to collection.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and manage all service and repair enquiries.
- Accurately understand and record customer requirements and vehicle concerns.
- Schedule service and repair appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and collections.
- Provide clear and accurate cost estimates and explain recommended work.
- Keep customers fully informed throughout the repair process.
- Liaise closely with Technicians and the workshop team to monitor vehicle progress.
- Manage bookings via telephone, online systems, and face-to-face interactions.
- Complete and explain Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs).
- Identify and maximise opportunities for additional work and aftersales products.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships to encourage repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Ensure all customer interactions meet the high standards expected of a premium automotive brand.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who can demonstrate:
- A minimum of 2 years' recent experience as an Automotive Service Advisor.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the eVHC process.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A professional, approachable, and customer-focused manner.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure within a busy dealership.
- A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude.
- A stable employment history, ideally with no more than 3 roles within the last 6 years.
