Gymnastics Head Coach
Gymspire is looking for enthusiastic and motivated Gymnastics Coaches to join our rapidly growing team.
We currently have opportunities available for after-school gymnastics clubs within schools, as well as Head Coach positions within our academies.
Current Academy Opportunities
- Head Coach roles available at our East Grinstead and Halstead academies
- Academy roles can be combined with school clubs roles (see vacancies below) for suitable candidates.
£16-£17.50 per hour for Head Coach (level 2)
Current School club Opportunities
- Oasis Byron (CR5 2XE) – Thursday After-School Club - £20 per school club
About the Role
We are looking for passionate Head Coaches who enjoy teaching children of all ages and abilities in a fun, safe, and engaging environment.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage gymnastics sessions to a high standard across acadamies
- Plan and deliver engaging, progressive lesson plans suitable for a range of ages and abilities
- Support, mentor, and oversee assistant coaches and junior coaching staff
- Ensure all sessions are delivered safely and in line with safeguarding and health & safety policies
- Monitor gymnast progress and provide constructive feedback to gymnasts and parents where appropriate
- Maintain high coaching standards and promote positive behaviour within classes
- Assist with staff training and ongoing coach development
- Organise and oversee equipment setup and pack down
- Act as a positive ambassador for the Gymspire brand at all times
- Support academy events, competitions, and displays where required
- Ensure registers, dismissals, and general session administration are completed accurately and professionally
Requirements
- Aged 16 years or over
- Previous gymnastics coaching experience
- Minimum Level 1 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification for school club roles
- Minimum Level 2 Gymnastics Coaching Qualification for Head Coach roles
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and confident working with children
Training & Development
Successful candidates will receive both internal and external training opportunities. Coaches who do not currently hold a Level 2 qualification must be willing to work towards achieving it upon joining.
