Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas using fresh ingredients, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to achieve optimal cooking results
- Follow established recipes and presentation standards to create visually appealing and flavorful pizzas
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering strictly to food safety protocols
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables, preparing dough, and stocking ingredients for smooth kitchen operations
- Support serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of freshly made pizzas to customers
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to ensure uninterrupted service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role within a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Hands-on experience with meal preparation techniques specific to pizza making is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and serving staff
