About the Role
Audio Takes UK is seeking a technically skilled and creative Audio Engineer to support recording, mixing, editing, and audio production projects. The successful candidate will combine strong technical knowledge with a keen ear for quality and a passion for delivering professional audio experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Record, edit, mix, and master audio content.
- Set up and operate microphones, consoles, interfaces, and recording equipment.
- Monitor audio quality and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Collaborate with producers, artists, editors, and creative teams.
- Maintain recording equipment and studio systems.
- Prepare audio files for different production and distribution formats.
- Manage audio archives and production documentation.
- Stay informed about emerging audio technologies and production techniques.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Audio Engineering, Sound Production, Music Technology, or a related field.
- Professional experience in audio engineering or production.
- Strong knowledge of digital audio workstations and recording equipment.
- Excellent understanding of sound recording, editing, mixing, and mastering.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and attention to detail.
