FT Recruitment are hiring for a counterbalance and ppt driver. The ideal candidate needs to have both external licenses.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate pallet trucks (PPTs) to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse or construction site
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by moving goods to designated areas with accuracy and care
- Load and unload materials from trucks using forklift equipment when necessary
- Maintain proper handling techniques to prevent damage to products and ensure safety standards are met
- Collaborate with warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements and update records promptly
- Conduct routine inspections of PPTs and other mechanical equipment, reporting any issues for maintenance or repair
- Support warehouse organization by stacking, arranging, and securing materials efficiently
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklift equipment and pallet trucks in a warehouse or construction environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and documentation
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Experience in materials handling, heavy lifting, and safe loading/unloading procedures
- Familiarity with shipping & receiving processes and documentation requirements
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly and work in a fast-paced setting
- Prior construction or industrial experience is a plus but not mandatory
