The Den is a cosy, stylish café and bar in the heart of Bath, known for its warm atmosphere, great coffee, and high-quality food. We’re looking for a passionate and creative Chef to take the lead in our kitchen. If you love creating fresh, flavourful dishes and enjoy working independently in a relaxed yet fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook a range of brunch and lunch dishes to a high standard
- Ensure every plate looks and tastes fantastic
- Keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly
- Manage stock, place orders, and plan prep efficiently
- Work with the team to develop and refine menus
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine passion for food and quality
- Previous kitchen experience (café or bistro experience a bonus)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- The ability to stay calm and organised under pressure
- A positive, team-focused attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £13.50-£15.50 per hour
