A fantastic opportunity to work for a well established craft company in our Preston (Lancs) based operation.
Hunkydory Crafts are multi award-winning industry leaders specialising in the design and manufacture of papercraft materials, which are sold worldwide across major retailers and shopping television channels.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking individual to train as a print finisher in our busy production department. The role involves operating Heidelberg Platen print finishing machinery, including hot-foil blocking, die-cutting, embossing and scoring. The ideal candidate will be able to work accurately and have great attention to detail. Full training to the highest standards will be given, therefore previous experience is not necessary.
Key Duties:
- Making print jobs ready on Heidelberg Platen machinery
- Running print jobs on Heidelberg Platen machinery
- Quality control throughout a print run
- Cleaning and general maintenance of machinery
- General housekeeping
Please Note: This is a physically demanding role with a weight of 25kg being lifted during the make-ready procedure.
Job Type: Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
