Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Talent Acquisition Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the full cycle of talent sourcing, candidate engagement, and recruitment operations. Your enthusiasm and organisational skills will help us attract top talent, streamline hiring processes, and foster strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and post engaging job adverts across platforms such as Indeed and other recruitment channels.
- Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, databases and direct approaches.
- Review and shortlist CVs against role requirements.
- Conduct telephone and initial screening interviews.
- Arrange and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Maintain accurate candidate and recruitment records.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of suitable candidates.
- Work closely with managers to understand current and future recruitment requirements.
- Support recruitment campaigns and employer branding activities.
- Monitor recruitment activity and provide regular updates and reports.
- Assist with pre-employment checks, references and right-to-work processes.
- Support the onboarding process for successful candidates.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- Confident communicating with candidates and hiring managers.
- Organised and able to manage multiple vacancies at the same time.
- Comfortable working to targets and deadlines.
- Professional, confident and personable on the phone.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive and able to work independently.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and recruitment/job board systems.
- A positive team player with a genuine interest in finding and attracting great people.
Previous experience within recruitment, talent acquisition or an internal recruitment environment would be desirable.
