Duties
- Consult with clients to understand their hair needs and preferences
- Perform hair cutting, colouring, and styling services using various techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the salon environment
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair fashion and techniques
- Recommend hair care products and treatments to clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat visits
- Adhere to health and safety regulations within the salon
Skills
- Proficient in various hair cutting, colouring, and styling techniques
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients
- Strong attention to detail and creativity in styling
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of current hair trends and products
- A valid hairdressing certificate is essential
- Previous experience in a salon setting is preferred.
