Duties
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as Xero
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure accuracy
- Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
- Support year-end closing procedures
- Monitor financial transactions to identify discrepancies or irregularities
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role within a professional setting
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero or FreeAgent is essential
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly accounts payable and receivable
- Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
- Prior experience with payroll processing is advantageous but not mandatory
- Good communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
