As SDE grows and expands, we are looking for a Trade Counter & office sales advisor to join our team. The role involves serving customers at the trade counter, assisting in the yard, preparing orders, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.
Previous experience in a builders merchant would be ideal, but we would also welcome applicants from trade retail environments such as Screwfix or Toolstation. We are keen to hear from candidates with the right attitude, reliability and ability to work well as part of a team and eagerness to grow.
If you're used to a fast-paced role and would prefer more variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to use your initiative, this could be a great opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers at the trade counter
- Friendly and helpful telephone and email communication
- Loading and unloading materials into depot
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Supporting the team with general duties

- Industry experience beneficial but not essential
