We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This is a mobile coffee unit (vintage coffee caravan) therefore the right individual must be ok with working in a small environment and close contact. Barista skills are ideal, they are not essential as you will be mainly operating the till and taking orders.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other food preparation equipment safely and efficiently.
- Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including counters, equipment, and utensils in compliance with food safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, answering queries, and offering product recommendations.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold food safety standards at all times.
Skills
- Proven barista experience or background in food service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are maintained.
- Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Ability to assist with food preparation tasks when required.
- Strong basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.

Pay: £13.50 per hour
