We are looking for:-
A SNA (Special Needs Assistant) to support a children one to one with targeted support. Hours will be 9am-3pm four days a week (can be 5 days if 30 hours are needed) all year round.
You will be qualified minimum at Level 2 or willing to qualify
All applicants must have paediatric first aid, or be willing to complete this before employment begins.

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Years practitioners to join our team. The ideal candidate will have completed their Level 2 in early childhood education (or be willing to undertake this) and have a genuine love for working with young children and those with individual needs. This role involves working with children with individual needs to support them with their targets to access our curriculum and be inclusive each day. You will work with experienced practitioners to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of children in their early years. You will play a crucial role in supporting the fostering of children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Work with experienced practitioners supporting the individual needs of children
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children.
- Learn how to observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and communicating findings to parents or guardians.
- Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
- Learn how to manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
- Learn how to maintain accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and any incidents that may occur.
- Learn how to communicate effectively with parents, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
Skills
- An understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Some experience including successful placement work in a childcare or nursery setting.
- Experience of working with children with special educational need.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A nurturing attitude towards children, fostering an environment of trust and support.
