The Role
We are currently looking for a Delivery Assistant/Warehouse operative to work at our busy distribution centre in Benfleet.
The Candidate
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy appliances
- Must be able to comply with the companies Health and Safety policy & to be fully aware of the responsibilities as outlined in the policy.
Duties
- Duties include loading and off-loading White & Brown goods from and onto vehicles
- The delivery of new appliances into customer’s properties, whilst taking the highest level of due care and attention.
- Go that extra mile to look after our clientele
- To ensure all items are processed using the companies’ electronic system.
- Be confident to install appliances (White Goods). Full Training will be given.
- Relocate and Pick stock for the following day
- To carry out any other task deemed necessary and reasonable by the company
Key Skills
- Manual dexterity
- Hand-Eye coordination
- Numerate and Literate
- Ability to use computer
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to accept responsibility
- Good Communication Skills
- To be able to work as part of a team
- Reach Truck experience would be beneficial but not required

- 40 hour working week, with the option available for overtime
- 5 Day Rota over 7 Days ( Saturdays will be required)

Pay: £26,436.80 per year
