Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Provide menus, answer questions about food and beverages, and offer recommendations
- Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serve food and drinks in a courteous and timely manner
- Handle guest enquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front desk area and dining space
- Process payments accurately using the designated systems
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery
- Follow specs in creating and serving drinks
- Pack orders accurately and efficiently
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
- Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is desirable but not mandatory
