The Opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Materials Handler to work in Stores on Days, reporting to the Materials Handling Team Leader.
The Role
- The day to day picking and identification of parts for AHU & spares orders
- Packing parts suitable for UK & Export despatch (boxes, crates, pallets etc)
- Booking parts in/out through SAP computer system
- Booking consignments/creating daily manifests via Courier computer systems
- Liaising with despatch Courier Drivers
- Dealing professionally with customer collections
- Providing cover for both Unit 37 & Unit 21/22 Stores role
Desired Skills/Experience
The successful candidate should have the following skills:
- Ability to work under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
- Be capable of working unsupervised & able to use own initiative
- Good Communication skills
- FLT & full driving licence (FLT training can be provided if you currently do not hold a licence)
- Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
Training will be provided for the right applicant to develop the skills & knowledge required for the position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £28,000.00 per year
