About the Role
We are looking for a qualified Maintenance Electrician to join our growing team, carrying out planned preventative maintenance across tunnel and transport infrastructure throughout London and the South.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist contractor working on critical infrastructure projects with long-term career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on tunnel and transport infrastructure.
- Maintain and fault find on LV distribution systems.
- Service pumps, motors, variable speed drives, supply & extract fans and ventilation dampers.
- Maintain emergency lighting, LED tunnel lighting and Wayfinder systems.
- Carry out maintenance on CCTV, intruder alarms and LED control systems.
- Complete inspections and identify remedial works.
- Produce accurate maintenance reports and ensure all work complies with health & safety standards.
- Work occasional night shifts during planned closure windows (premium rates paid).
- Participate in a week-on/week-off 24-hour call-out rota.
What We're Looking For
- JIB Approved Electrician or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing (2394/2395 or equivalent).
- Experience within transport infrastructure, highways, tunnels or similar environments.
- Experience with LED tunnel or ancillary lighting is desirable.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexible to work nights when required.
