Behaviour and Pastoral Support Officer
Starting date: September 2026 (or sooner by agreement)
Hours: 36 hours per week; term time only (39 weeks per year)
Location: Brampton Manor Academy
Starting salary (actual): £28,068 per annum (higher salary may be available for an exceptionalcandidate with significant relevant experience)
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, resilient and highly effective Behaviour and Pastoral Support Officer to join our pastoral team.
The successful candidate will work alongside Progress Leaders (Heads of Year), teachers and senior leaders to safeguard and promote the welfare of students and ensure that all pupils are supported to achieve their full potential.
The main responsibilities of this role are to:
- safeguard and promote the welfare of all students within the assigned year group
- monitor and improve pupil attendance, punctuality, behaviour and engagement with learning
- provide pastoral support and intervention for individual students and groups of students
- work closely with parents, external agencies and school staff to remove barriers to learning
- support the implementation of the school’s behaviour, attendance and safeguarding policies
