The Music Shed Tuition LTD is a family run music school with a passion for offering high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and abilities. We are seeking a talented and experienced Cover Vocal and Piano Teacher to join our team on a freelance basis.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic musician to provide cover vocal and piano lessons for our students. As a Cover Vocal and Piano Teacher when our current teacher is absent, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education, supporting students' musical development, and providing a positive learning environment. This is a flexible role.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver vocal and piano lessons to students of all ages and abilities
* Plan and prepare engaging lessons that cater to individual students' needs and goals
* Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson plans
* Communicate effectively with students, parents, and The Music Shed Tuition LTD team
Requirements:
* 1 year of experience as a vocal and piano teacher
* Qualified music teacher with a relevant music degree or diploma (e.g., ABRSM, Trinity, or equivalent)
* Excellent vocal and piano skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
Desired Qualifications:
* Music education qualification (e.g.,Degree, Cert. Ed.)
* Experience working with students of all ages and abilities
* Familiarity with music education methodologies and curriculum frameworks
