We are seeking a reliable and detail oriented Assembly Operator to join our Production team. The successful candidate will ensure all re-packaging and assembly operations are carried out in full compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and quality standards.
This role plays a key part in ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient assembly and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in full compliance with GMP and all company SOPs during re-packaging and assembly operations
- Follow production schedules and meet daily targets efficiently and safely
- Collect job bags and products from the warehouse as required
- Disassemble incoming packs and assemble finished packs according to batch packing records
- Follow detailed instructions in batch documentation throughout all processes
- Accurately complete batch documentation in real time to ensure full traceability
- Ensure all equipment usage is recorded in logbooks correctly
- Operate packaging and labelling equipment safely and report any faults immediately
- Identify and report any potential issues affecting GMP compliance
- Maintain awareness of falsified medicine risks and escalate concerns appropriately
- Transfer finished goods and documentation to the QP release area as required
- Follow correct waste disposal procedures at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work areas and equipment
- Adhere to gowning procedures and hygiene standards at all times
Essential Skills & Attributes
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or GMP environment (preferred but not essential)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
- Good organisational skills and time management
- Team player with a responsible and safety-conscious attitude

Pay: Up to £24,784.50 per year
